What STEM Physiotherapy & Healthcare is doing to keep you safe & help assist decrease the spread of all infections, including Covid 19
STEM Physiotherapy & Healthcare Ltd is working well within the safety parameters of PHE (Public Health England), gov.uk, HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) and the CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy) to ensure that you are as protected as you possibly can be when attending your appointment.
On arrival, you should use the alcohol gel provided and proceed to the treatment room as shown by your clinician.
You may be asked to wear a face mask along with your Physiotherapist in accordance with current PHE (Public Health England) recommendations.
The treatment plinth, chairs and desk will be wiped down with antibacterial spray before and after each appointment.
IF advised to do so by the governing bodies, distancing will be maintained wherever possible and, if needed at that time, throughout assessment and treatment as per guidelines.
There are gaps between each appointment to allow for cleaning and ventilation time.
Please do not arrive too early before your appointment time. This allows all the infection control measures to be carried out fully.
On initial contact, an element of screening will be carried out & the therapist can then ascertain if you require a hands-on face-to-face assessment/treatment or if in fact this can be done via virtual methods, further reducing unnecessary contact.
Home visits are available for those who are unable to attend the clinic. Thus, ensuring that you still get the treatment you require to allow you to function pain-free and continue any occupations you need to do to remain healthy.
